Nature’s beauty appears dramatically in sunsets, constellations, northern lights, and more. Of equal intrigue to me are the more subtle stories buried within the discarded log, rejects from traditional carpentry, and other woody orphans en route to the fireplace or landfill. In that spirit, I especially value the creation of esthetically appealing and functional pieces from rescued and re-used abandoned wood. Virtually every item displayed here is “scrap.”
